Color postcard showing a group of soldiers behind a tank gun, c. 1942 Caption on front: Anti Tank Gun and Crew. Fort Custer, Michigan Sent to: Mr. and Mrs. J. Van Geest 872 Caulfield Ave. S.W. Grand Rapids, Mich. Hello folks Believe it or not I'm in the army and I kinda like it. They give us plenty to eat here and we get plenty of exercise. I was home Sat and Sun but didn't have much time to move around or I would have stopped in. By the wa I got a letter from Bernie the other day and I sure appreciated it. He says its pretty warm down there but he's collecting a nice tan. I've been in Custer about 10 days now and they can ship me out anytime as far as I'm concerned. I'll buy you [illegible] next time I see you. [illegible] Sent to: Mr. and Mrs. J. Van Geest 872 Caulfield Ave. S.W. Grand Rapids, Mich Sent on: November 17, 1942
