Caption on front: The New Verona Pumping Station, Battle Creek, Mich.
Written on back: Dear Henry I thought I would have a heart and send you a postcard although I don't owe you any. Ha. Ha. Well one of the fine September mornings the school bell will call us and I will be traveling the pathway to knowledge. None of us are ever too old to learn. This fall I am going to take commercial work and music. I wish you would say a little prayer for me that I may have a success in my work. Hope you are well. I am the same. As ever, Emma M. Scott.
